Scott Harmon
Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development
In his role as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Mr. Harmon is responsible for developing and executing the @Road market penetration strategies for Telecom, Broadband and Cable markets segments. He has over 20 years of vertical marketing, business development and general management experience in the communications markets and has worked for semiconductor, software, and services firms. Mr. Harmon worked for TRW, Intel and Fairchild for the first 10 years of his career and has since either co-founded or played executive roles in start-up or emerging growth companies. Prior to joining @Road, Mr. Harmon was the founding CEO of Lumenare Networks, a company focused on creating the Lab Resource Management (LRM) market serving large Telecom, Enterprise Software and SAN companies with a lab and test automation services business model. After closing two rounds of venture funding, Mr. Harmon transitioned to Vice President of Corporate Development and completed the company’s first major agreement and deployment with Sprint., Prior to co-founding Lumenare, Mr. Harmon was co-founder and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Fourth Communications Network, a company credited with creating and establishing the hotel high speed Internet market now served by Wayport, Cisco and others. He was also a Product Line Director for Atmel prior to its IPO, and created and managed Atmel’s fastest growing product line. Mr. Harmon has a BSEE from Purdue University, and an MBA from Pepperdine and has completed Stanford’s Executive Management Program.
