@Road MRM Solutions Nominated For Two Prestigious Telematics Awards 2006

Independent Panel of Automotive and Wireless Industry Judges Select the @Road GeoManager_SM iLM^® and @Road GeoManager_SM PE solutions as Telematics Award Program Finalists

FREMONT, Calif. – May 17, 2006 – @Road^®, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDI), a global provider of next-generation solutions for Mobile Resource Management (MRM), today announced that Telematics Update magazine has identified @Road® GeoManager iLM and @Road GeoManager PE solutions as finalists in the categories of “Best Commercial Vehicle Application” and “Best Telematics Mobile Phone Application or Product” respectively. Winners of the Telematics Update Awards 2006 will be announced at a gala dinner that closes the first day’s proceedings at the 6th annual Telematics Detroit Conference and Exhibition, May 23-24, 2006 at the Rock Financial Showplace. Telematics Detroit 2006 is the largest automotive telematics conference and exhibition in the world.

According to the Telematics Update event organizers, a record-breaking number of entries from across the telematics industry were submitted for this year’s Telematics Update Awards and the competition has been far closer than ever before. Chosen by an independent panel of automotive and wireless industry judges, each judge had to narrow each category down to five finalists.
