Course Title: Driver Hours of Service
Duration: 30 minutes
Description: Instructs drivers and/or supervisors on how to use the iDT or Terminal Log On for Hours of Service compliance. Drivers will learn to start their daily log using either the iDT or Terminal Log On, record duty statuses throughout their day, include a pre-defined message to a duty change, log out at the end of day and display the duty status detail, summary and graph pages using the iDT and the GeoManager Hours of Service Compliance and Driver Logs feature.

Description: This course is essential for fleet managers who want to remotely monitor vehicle diagnostics using GeoManager. This course shows fleet managers how to set up and use the GeoManager Diagnostic Fault Exception so they can learn about vehicle problems as soon as they occur.

When should I take this course? Fleet managers who have purchased the Advanced Engine Diagnostics package are recommended to take this course after the administrator has completed the Setup I, Setup II and Setup III courses.
Prerequisites: GeoManager Overview. For maximum benefit, it is recommended that participants first take the Vehicle Maintenance & Unauthorized Use course.
Hardware Requirements: This course is designed for fleet managers who have light-duty gas vehicles with an OBD II engine bus connection or heavy-duty diesel vehicles with a J1708 or J1587 engine bus connection, as well as Trimble diagnostics hardware including the iLM 2700 series or iLM 3100 series. Customers with only J1939 engine bus connections or who otherwise do not meet these hardware requirements will not be able to access all the features covered in this course. Please note that iLM 4500 series hardware capabilities are covered in a separate course.

Hardware Requirements: This course is designed for fleet managers who have light-duty gas vehicles with an OBD II engine bus connection or heavy-duty diesel vehicles with a J1708 or J1587 engine bus connection, as well as Trimble diagnostics hardware including the iLM 2700 series or iLM 3100 series. Customers with only J1939 engine bus connections or who otherwise do not meet these hardware requirements will not be able to access all the features covered in this course.
