How is the State Mileage Report used for filing my fuel tax reports?
When filing your quarterly Fuel Tax Reports under IFTA, one of the pieces of information you need to provide is the total miles traveled—regardless of state—and another is the total miles traveled by qualified motor vehicles within each member jurisdiction (State). The State Mileage Report provides this information to you easily and automatically.

By subscribing to Extended Data Storage with State Mileage Report, you can generate the report by month or even by quarter. So imagine—your notice comes for quarterly tax reporting, and you have already generated one @Road report totaling miles driven in each state by each vehicle in your fleet, and miles in total for an entire quarter at a time. You add fuel consumed appropriately. Having the miles driven in each state automatically calculated for you cuts out most—if not all—of the manual effort in getting the information needed for reporting.
